Halloween night. Pizza, right?
We made a call to our favorite pizzeria, Vocelli’s, and had two delicious pies on the table some 20 minutes later.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a really bad pizza before, with the exception of a frozen pie I once gambled on at Kroger’s. Most pizza parlors deliver the goods, but Vocelli’s is exceptional. I remember having to order extra cheese as a topping from Domino’s and Pizza Hut in the past, but that’s never necessary at Vocelli’s. Their pizza comes loaded with a blend of delicious Italian cheeses and if you order pepperoni, you get lots and lots of pepperoni. The sauce is delightful – authentic Italian and seasoned perfectly.
I don’t know where you might order your pizzas from in Charlottesville, but if you try Vocelli’s just once, that will be the last time you ever order from any other place. Vocelli’s. Woodbrook Shopping Center. 434-977-4992.
