I had an interesting visitor to my backyard early this morning – a possum. I’m sure he is a frequent visitor, but only after dark. Two Species of Cobia?
Last week, CvilleBuzz printed a release from the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council on Cobia Management. The release indicated that there are two stocks of cobia and that the cobia in federal waters off the east coast of Florida are considered part of the Gulf of Mexico migratory stock. Capt. Numerous bass in the 6 and 7 pound class are coming to the scales at Anna Point Marina. Some nice crappie, too. Last month, Tommy Lambert weighed in a slab-size crappie at 2 pounds, 2 ounces.
