The Outback was once our go-to restaurant. It was just around the corner, and in minutes after we made the decision not to cook at home, we were sitting at the bar or a table and scanning the menu. Then, Outback moved to a much larger location further down Rt. 29 and they were severely understaffed for a while and the service and quality suffered. But they have recovered nicely.
For my birthday dinner a week or so back, I decided on a return trip to The Outback, mainly because I wasn’t sure what I would order, and Outback always offers a wide variety of food. Want steak? They got it. Roast beef? Sure. Seafood? Pastas? Chicken? Great Burgers and Sammies? Everything.
For a change of pace, I decided to go with their Bloomin’ Fried Chicken. It was delicious. Bloomin’ Fried Chicken is a crispy fried chicken breast entrée smothered with Outback’s famous “Bloomin†Sauceâ€- nice and spicey but not overly so. I can get steak anytime, but this dish is unique.
There used to be long lines at the smaller Outback restaurant. Now? Not so much, but it’s still a good choice for eating out.
