Our favorite musician and our favorite winery destination? That’s a hard combination to beat, and Jimmy O will be strumming his guitar and playing endangered (oldies) music for a CrossKeys Vineyard audience this Sunday.
Cross Keys, located near Weyer’s Cave in the Shenandoah Valley, is noted for terrific Sunday Brunches artfully prepared by Chef Dexter Burgess (formerly with The Greenbrier). CrossKeys serves brunch from 11 am until 6:30 pm, so you can be a late riser and still enjoy a Brie Fondue, a Summer Waldorf Salad, a Pan Grilled Rueben or perhaps a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Panini. Reservations are not required, but are recommended.
Jimmy O will play between 1 and 4 pm, before dashing off to entertain his weekly Massanutten audience from 8 till 11 pm. Jimmy also performs at the Lazy Parrot Backyard in Charlottesville on Fridays from 6 to 9 PM. In Harrisonburg, he entertains the Corgans’ Publik House patrons every Thursday from 6 to 9 pm.
On July 28, Jimmy will perform at the Graves Mountain Peach Festival from 9 am till 3 pm. On July 29, he will be at the Stable Craft Brewery in Waynesboro from 1:00 – 4:00.
