I’ve printed this recipe before, but some things are worth repeating and this is one of them.
We were considering which dessert to serve company recently, and Nancy suggested my “Blueberry Stuff.”
I had forgotten about it. So I made it and was great as usual. Everybody loves it.
We call it Blueberry Stuff because that’s the name some lady friends of Nancy called it when I fixed it for their brunch. Since then, I am commanded to make it at each of their get-togethers. It is so good, it is sinful, and it’s easy to make. Here’s how (again).
The secret to any dessert or sweet is butter, lots of butter, so I begin my recipe by melting a stick and a half of butter in a casserole dish in the microwave. Next, mix 1 3/4 cups of Bisquick mix with ¾ cup of sugar and stir with a whisk. When blended, add 1 cup of whole milk. Stir out all the lumps, then pour the mixture directly on the melted butter. Don’t mix the butter and the mixture. It will all work out in the end. Finally, add 4 full cups of fresh blueberries on top.
Put the dish in a 350 oven and cook for about 45 minutes. When it’s golden brown, it’s done. It really is “good stuff!”
