After a long, totally unwanted break, the Charlottesville Municipal Band is getting back in action. As with all outdoor concerts, rain will cancel – but not CoVid!
Steve Layman, Band Director, notes that there will be a Brass and Sax Quartet performing Sunday June 6 at 6:30 in. the. Amphitheater behind Dickinson PVCC. It’s free to the public.
On June 13 at 3:30, a Clarinet and French Horn Ensemble will perform another concert at the same location.
Finally, in its first live concert since December 2019, the full Charlottesville Municipal Band will perform on Sunday July 11 at 3:30 at Claudius Crozet Park.
Bring a lawn chair, sit back and enjoy. The Band is back in action.
