After a long winter’s nap, the horns are awake, the drums stirring, and members of the Charlottesville Band are ready to rumble. Their first gig is just a few days away. Says Steve Layman, Band Director, “The Cville Band is excited to return to the PVCC Dickinson Auditorium to open our Centennial Season of nine live performances. This program will feature the world premiere of three selections written especially for our Centennial, and trumpet soloist Samuel Hall, winner of our 2022 James W. Simmons Solo Contest and Dr. Genevieve Murphy Scholarship.”
The Free Concert will be Sunday, April 24 at 3:30 at the PVCC Dickinson Auditorium. For more details, go to https://cvilleband.org/event/100th-season-spring-concert/
