The best thing to do on the Outer Banks, particularly at Nags Head, is to pull up a lawn chair beside the sound, pour a glass of white wine and watch the sunset. Each one is spectacular. The Outer Banks is pirate country and the site of the Lost Colony. Thus, there is lots of history and places to visit and a trip to the NC Aquarium at Manteo is always a family favorite. Outer Banks Fishing Report
On Thursday, there were sea mullet and bluefish scattered along the beaches. Pompano were beached at Ramp 48 and a couple of nice drum were caught in Buxton. Frisco anglers put trout in their coolers. Sea mullet were scattered on the beaches from Kitty Hawk to the Inlet. Rough seas have made surf fishing challenging the last few days.
