When I thumb through recipes, I look first for “easy”. If it’s hard and complicated, I let somebody else cook it. It doesn’t have to be hard to put together to be good to eat.
For example.
I decided I wanted a Strawberry Pie, so I whipped up the easiest strawberry pie in the world.
Here’s how.
I happened to have a cup and a half of sliced strawberries on hand, and I put them to good use. I went Aldi’s and bought a Graham Cracker Pie Crust – that was easy. Then I found some Strawberry flavored Greek yogurt and I bought three six-ounce containers.
The hardest part was taking the top off the Graham Cracker Pie Crust. After that, it was all downhill. I put the sliced strawberries in the crust, added the three containers of yogurt, mixed them up and put them in the freezer. That’s it.
When serving, add Whipped Cream if you must, but it’s not necessary
Easy, inexpensive, reasonably healthy, and delicious – my kind of recipe.
1 Graham Cracker Crust
3 6-oz. containers of Strawberry flavored Greek Yogurt
1 ½ C sliced fresh strawberries
(Whipped Cream Optional)
