Everybody loves tacos. Everybody loves sliders and everybody loves Hawaiian Rolls. Why not throw them all together for a fun and delicious dish – Taco Sliders.
When I saw the recipe, it sounded so good I had to try it and it’s a winner as either an appetizer or an entree. And easy, as well.
Start by browning a pound of lean ground beef, then add a packet of taco seasoning. You could also add peppers, olives, onions, or your favorite ingredients, but I kept mine simple – just meat and seasoning.
Take a package of Hawaiian rolls and slice them in half. They are easier to work with if you also separate the 12 rolls into halves. Spread the ground beef on the rolls, squirt a generous helping of taco sauce over the meat, then add a thick coat of Taco-style grated cheese. Position the rolls back in place and heat in a 350 oven for 15 or 20 minutes. Put them out at a football game spread or tailgate and they will disappear.
