It’s the holiday season and I’m at my usual job – hustling my latest publications. Two years ago, I wrote a small booklet called While Shepherds Watched. It’s a short story about a young shepherd boy who was watching over his sheep when the Angel of the Lord appeared, announcing the birth of the Christ Child. I printed enough to get the price down to $5 each, including a festive red envelope. They make amazing Christmas cards.
I also wrote a children’s book, Ava Meets a Gnome. It’s a nice little book in full color with a laminated cover and it’s a fun read. I recommend it for children up to age 10 because it is designed to stimulate a child’s imagination. The book is about a little girl named Ava who imagines a Garden Gnome into becoming real and then sets about with many wonderful adventures.
The book is available at Nancy B’s House of Lights in Charlottesville for $18 or I can mail copies ($20 each includes postage) and send them directly to you.
