I occasionally get a Gift Box from Omaha Steaks as a present from one of my kids. The boxes usually have more chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs than steaks, but it’s all high quality and delicious.
What I most enjoy about these gift boxes is that they usually include a bottle of their Omaha Steak Seasoning and it’s the absolute best on the market. It adds to and brings out the flavor of a steak without overpowering. I like to get my steaks out an hour before grilling and coat both sides with Omaha Steak Seasoning and it’s hard to beat.
I don’t know exactly what is in the seasoning, but the label includes things like dehydrated garlic and onion, dehydrated bell pepper, a bit of dehydrated orange peel, some sugar, paprika and other spices. Whatever it is, I use it on all my beef and it’s especially good on smash burgers.
I didn’t know this until recently, but Omaha Steak makes other seasonings including Signature Seafood, Garlic and Herb, Sweet Smokey Apple Wood, and Private Reserve. I intend to order the Signature Seafood and the Private Reserve which is a Gourmet Seasoning for both pork and beef. I haven’t seen any of the Omaha products in stores, but they are available on-line through Omaha Steaks. Try some. The Omaha Steak Seasoning is good enough to order a whole boxload of meat just for the seasoning.
