What do you do with an old hot tub that is no longer in workable condition? You can’t put it out on the curb for trash pick-up on Monday mornings. You don’t have enough friends to help drag it to a truck if you could find one big enough to hold a huge six-seater. I had such a hot tub and it looked like we were stuck with it.
Then Nancy called an outfit known as Rubbish Works Junk Removal. No problem, they said, and within a week, it was gone. The owner, Pete Whittier, came out personally with his crew and they disassembled the tub. Cutting, sawing, and whacking, they dragged the parts to their trash truck, cleaned up every scrap of mess and even took away an old firepit of ours that had fallen apart at no extra charge.
They were professional, courteous, efficient, and friendly. Their fee was more than fair, I thought. They are also eco-friendly, making every effort to limit what goes to landfills by recycling and donating whenever possible. They simply make it easy to get rid of unwanted items and without the hassle.
If you have junk – old appliances, construction debris, cluttered storage rooms, or outdoor structures, for example – and you’d like it to go away, one phone call gets the job done. Call Pete Whittier at 434-981-7390 and say goodbye to your rubbish.
