I was making my periodic run to Sam’s Club to stock up on paper towels, napkins and toilet paper and stopped by the back counter with prepared hams and meats. I noticed a boneless, oven roasted turkey breast. Hmmm! A couple of great meals and piles of turkey sandwiches? It was about $18 and I squeezed it into my now-brimming cart.
The instructions said to cover it with foil and heat it about one hour at 350. I did and it was scrumptious – moist to the extreme, tender, and delicious. I told Nancy we should forego the traditional turkey in the oven for the holidays and go with this. She, of course, nixed that idea since she enjoys spending 4 days in the kitchen to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner which is eaten in about 15 minutes.
The point of all this is why wait for special occasions to enjoy roast turkey when it’s this easy and this good? Sam’s Club Oven Roasted Turkey Breast is boneless, fully cooked, and oven ready. There is zero waste. What a deal!
