I was looking for something different for dinner, preferably something quick and easy. I’m not a big fan of processed dinner entrees or heat-and-serve frozen dishes, but a box of Tastee Choice Frozen Shrimp Tempura caught my eye. I love Shrimp Tempura when we order Chinese and it’s a dish you don’t just whip up at home. So, I rolled the dice and bought two 6-count boxes at $5.99 each.
Oh yes, I made the right choice.
The Oven Crispy Extra Jumbo Tempura Shrimp were not as good as the ones fresh out of the frying baskets at Chopsticks Express, but they were about 90% as good. The shrimp comes with a package of Sweet Soy Sauce for dipping, and at $12 a delicious seafood entrée for two, it was money well spent. I don’t think I’ve ever tried any of the other Tastee Choice products, but they offer a wide variety of seafood entrees including Butterfly Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp Alfredo, Shrimp Fried Rice, Shrimp Florentine and others. The Pittson, PA-based company is well-established and from my experience, they use only the highest quality ingredients.
Next time you want to impress family or friends and need a quick, but delicious seafood entree or appetizer, consider one of the fine products from Tastee Choice.
