When I get in the mood for Fried Chicken, I gotta have some Fried Chicken or it will haunt me until I do. After a busy day this week, Nancy and I decided to let someone else cook dinner. I had a craving for Fried Chicken and headed for Bojangles.
I like KFC, but their prices are really on the upswing. I recently ordered for a bucket of all dark-meat chicken, which they once gave a discount for, but it came to over $20 and no sides.
I picked up my order of Bojangles, a bucket with 4 biscuits for $19.95 and the 8 pieces went fast. Bojangles is spicier, fried Cajun style, with just the right amount of heat. I like their chicken, but their made-from-scratch Buttermillk Biscuits are out of sight. Big, fluffy, rich, and delicious.
Bojangles is a Carolina-based restaurant chain specializing in southern chicken, biscuits and tea made fresh daily from real recipes. The restaurant was founded in 1977 as a single location in Charlotte, Then, it took off. Today they have about 10,000 employees in over 800 locations.
My chicken cravings have been satisfied – for now – but in another couple weeks, I’ll be heading for Bojangles once again.
