We went to see Nate Bargatze last weekend in the Capital Center in Washington, DC. There is not much that would make me go to DC, except for maybe Nate Bargatze, one of the funniest stand-up comedians in the world.
We first saw Nate in his 2 specials with Netflix. He was so funny, we just belly laughed – and that’s hard to do these days. If you’ve seen him, you know what I mean. If you’ve never seen him, by all means pull up Netflix and watch. He is just hilarious.
Like all great comedians, Bargatze has brilliant timing and facial expressions to match. He speaks in a Tennessee drawl that makes you laugh just to hear him talk. He never cusses and he never brings up politics. He just talks about everyday stuff like going to MacDonalds and having aging parents and a teenage daughter. He brings up all his bad and personal habits – to which we all can relate – and he delivers his jokes one after another so that it’s sometimes hard to catch your breath because of laughing so hard.
He is on tour now and sold out the Capital Arena to the tune of over 15,000 fans. They say this tour will be the highest attended comedy tour in history. Everywhere he goes, people want to see him.
Check out his schedule online and if you ever get the opportunity, do yourself a favor and go see Nate Bargatze.
