Hey, if you know where you can find some kids, I know a place to take them fishing. Lake Orange is having a Youth Fishing Day this Saturday from noon till 4 pm, enough time for them to get wet and muddy and maybe even catch a fish or two. Crappie and bluegills are near the shore now and a meal worm or a bit of earthworm on a small hook will trigger a bite. A chunk of chicken liver will entice a catfish and minnows work well for crappie and yellow perch. Angler’s Lane on the lake sells bait and snacks.
This is a free event with lots of prizes. Rain or shine, take a kid fishing this Saturday.
