I gave Nancy a Solar Fountain for the front yard birdbath for Christmas as a small gift for Christmas last year, but since it was winter, we put it away – and forgot about it. A couple weeks ago, Nancy found it, we assembled it and put it in the birdbath.
It’s great – keeps the water fresh and stirred up and mosquitos at arm’s length. Plus, the birds love it. It’s like taking an outdoor shower at the beach.
The product is a Mademax Upgraded Solar Fountain with four easy-install nozzles. You pick which spray you’d like. We chose a fine, misty spray. It’s solar powered, thus no electricity, just a little sunshine. The little guy struggles a bit on cloudy days, but still manages to keep the water stirred. It works especially well for bird baths but is also useful for fishponds or any outdoor water sites.
It was less than $20, a nice product for the money. I think I’ll buy a few more for next Christmas and try to remember where I stored them.
