For Father’s Day, I got a Squirrel Stopper Sequoia – a fancy term for a bird buffet. It’s an elegant bird feeder pole that features 4 hanging stations.
It’s a sturdy piece of equipment that will hold fairly heavy feeders, bird houses or plants. The lower pole segment has an attached auger that will screw into the ground about 2 feet, making this pole system strong and secure. The middle section includes the Universal Baffle that prevents squirrels from running or jumping up the pole. This squirrel proof pole is new and improved! The patented baffle technology allows the squirrel proof baffle to move up and down and side to side to prevent squirrels from stealing any bird seed.
My daughter Angelin has one, I admired it and …bingo, I got one.
I like it because I can now offer my birds 4 options – a buffet, if you will.
I have chosen a finch feeder with thistles and small seeds, a hanging suet bar, a sunflower hearts feeder, and a feeder with assorted seeds, berries, and nuts. I think I have all the bases covered. Now it’s up to the birds to come and enjoy their buffet dinners.
