Our kitchen cabinets needed painting. They had chipped and scuffed over the years and needed either replacing or some serious painting. We went with painting, but cabinets aren’t like walls and ceilings. They need special care, the right paint, and the right painters.
In the old days, we could call one of our painter friends, but most are now long gone, and we had no painter contacts. We called one guy who came highly recommended by a local paint store, but it took a week before he finally came out and his estimate approached the cost of brand-new cabinets. Then, Nancy called Five Star Painting. They came by promptly, gave us a fair estimate, I thought, and we hired them. They showed up on time, got to work and took great pains to restore our cabinets and to avoid any spills or messes. Two days later, they finished the job, and we were delighted. They look like new cabinets – a precision job.
It turns out that the owners were both long-time employees at Sherman Williams, so they knew what they were doing, and they knew all the painters as well. As such, they are super selective about who they put on the job, and the owners themselves take a hands-on approach.
I give them five stars and highly recommend their services. For any of your painting needs, contact Stephen Rutherford at 434-404-1746 or go to FiveStarPainting.com
