In the never-ending battle for Truth, Justice, and a Shrinking Waistline, I’ve found a big helper. Carb Control Wraps from L’Oven Fresh.
I like a sandwich for lunch, but a couple slices of bread will cost you at least 120 calories, plus all those carbs. I happened to see the Carb Control Wraps and noted that the package said only 60 calories per wrap. I bought a package of 8 and they are delicious. Made of oat fiber and whole wheat flour among other things, they have a delightful flavor, not at all like those flour-y tortillas. They also have 12 g of fiber which we all need and only 4 grams of carbs.
In the mornings, I spread a little whipped cream cheese on one of my wraps, add either a slice of bacon or a couple ham slices, roll it all up, zap it in the microwave for 15 seconds and enjoy a filling breakfast for under 200 calories. I can do the same at lunch with my choice of sandwich ingredients.
Best of all, they really taste great. Try a pack. You’ll like what they can do for your waistline.
