“Did anybody bring sunscreen?”
“I have a blister on my heel, who has a band aid?
“Boy, that hot dog was messy. Sure would like a hand wipe.”
“Damned mosquito nailed me. Anybody have and insect sting medicine?”
“My back is acting up again! Got any Ibuprofen?”
“These gnats are awful. Bug repellent, anyone?”
Most of us carry golf balls and tees in our bags, not a miniature pharmacy, but I was tired of being on the course without the basic essentials to combat things that can screw up a round of golf.
So, I have come up with – and I am now producing – a Ready Fore Golf supply kit that fits neatly in the side pocket of your golf bag – and then you’re ready for most anything.
The 30-piece kit includes a red cloth bag filled with convenient packets of sunscreen, bandages, sanitized hand wipes, insect sting relief, pain-relievers and insect repellent. The kit costs $15 (including tax). They make ideal gifts, not only for golfers, but for anybody who spends time outdoors – hikers, fishermen, campers – and they are pretty handy in a the glove compartment of a car or truck.
I am marketing them personally. I will ship them to your address for $15 each, plus $2.50 postage and handling, but if you buy two or more, there is no postage and handling. They are available at my Lights Out store in Ruckersville or at Nancy B’s House of Lights at 1807 Seminole Trail in Charlottesville. If you pick them up, there is obviously no freight or handling charges. For large events – as gifts or prizes – we offer custom printing and quantity discounts.
