The only problem with cooking is having to clean up your mess and they say the best cooks make the biggest messes. I tell my wife Nancy that, but she is not impressed with the multitude of pots and pans scattered about the kitchen after one of my “Emeril Lagassi” endeavors.
Knowing that I make most of the messes, I do my share of dish washing and I have discovered an able assistant. Ms. Meyers Dish Soap.
We were staying in an Airbnb recently and they had Ms. Meyers Dish soap at the sink. I had never used it before, but Nancy had, and suggested that we should try it, so I ordered a 48-oz. refill size which we then poured in our old dish soap squeeze bottles. After just a few dish washing episodes, I was sold. This stuff really works.
It happens to be eco-friendly, completely biodegradable and made with plant-based materials, but that’s not why I like it. I like it because it really cuts grease. It contains aloe vera extract, glycerin, and essential oils so it’s easy on your hands. It also comes in pleasant fragrances such as honeysuckle. A 48-oz. bottle runs about $10 bucks so it’s affordable quality.
If you make messes like me when you cook, the cleanup is much easier with Ms. Meyers Dish Soap.
