Pretzels are good, but Garlic/Ranch Pretzels are better. In fact, they are addictive. We received a gift box of theses scrumptious snacks for Christmas, and they were so good I decided to try my hand at a batch. I knocked it out of the park.
As a snack, pretzels are a far better choice than chips with fewer calories and far less saturated fat. Homemade pretzels are a real treat, but I decided to go with a package if regular twist pretzels. I don’t know if it’s the salt, the garlic or the Ranch seasoning that makes you want to eat one after another, or maybe it’s the combination. Once you eat one, though, it’s hard to stop.
Making a batch is quite simple.
Line a couple baking pans with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 300. In a large Zip-Loc bag, add a 16-oz. bag of your favorite pretzels, 1/3 C olive oil, 1 packet Ranch seasoning and 1 T garlic powder. Shake thoroughly to coat the pretzels, then spread the pretzels across the 2 pans. Bake in the oven for 17 or 18 minutes and allow to cool. Store in an air-tight plastic container and enjoy.
