At least ten times a day, I feel around in my pocket to make sure it’s there. If I don’t detect it, I panic. I simply cannot do without my constant companion, my Leatherman Tool. Since I was 6 years old, I have carried a pocket-knife, but about 40 years ago, I discovered the smallest Leatherman Tool, the Micra size. It takes up practically no room and fits easily into a front pocket. It’s so small, you have to feel around to make sure it’s there. And it is the most versatile, compact tool you can own.
The “Micra” is Leatherman’s bestselling mini tool, with features set ideal not only everyday tasks, but for many hobbies such as fishing, sewing and more. One Micra Leatherman Tool has a pair of sharp scissors that I use daily. It also comes equipped with a decent knife, a flat/Phillips’s screwdriver, a ruler, a nail cleaner, tweezers, a bottle opener, a nail file, a medium screwdriver, an extra small screwdriver and a key ring and it all weighs less than 2 ounces. It is much more compact and of a higher quality than a Swiss Army Knife.
I have lost a few over the years and I now keep not one, but two spares. I have one new-in-the-box that my son gave me as a second back-up.
I don’t understand how anybody can do without a pocket-knife and it is unimaginable for me to consider life without a small Leatherman Tool.
