I have been shopping more and more at Aldi’s. Their prices are simply incredible, and I have found a few products that I really enjoy there that are available nowhere else. Their Great Gherkins Hamburger Dill Pickle Chips, for one.
I was in Aldi’s recently and bought some ground sirloin for burgers that night and remembered that I was out of dill pickle chips. To me, a cheeseburger without pickles and onions is not worth the trouble. Hoping I didn’t have to go elsewhere, I went by the rack with pickles and saw a large bottle of Great Gherkins Hamburger Dill Chips. It wasn’t what I was used to, like the jars of Mt. Olive pickles, but I rolled the dice and gave it a try.
There pickles chips are incredible. That are large, uneven slices and they taste a lot like the very expensive Claussen Pickles. I piled them high on my cheeseburger and wolfed it down. I am eager to try these dill chips on my next Chick Fil-et imitation sandwich.
Not only are the pickles delicious, but they are also quite inexpensive at $2.29 for a big 32-oz. jar.
I have found that shopping at Aldi’s makes it well worth your while to carry an extra quarter in order to rent a shopping cart.
