Okay, Brewer. It’s your last meal. We caught you pulling the tags off two bed pillows without authorization and the warden’s going to throw the switch in the morning.
What do you want to eat, and it has to be from a restaurant in Charlottesville?
But those tags were sticking out of the pillowcase, and they were from My Pillows.com! And I used the Promo Code! It doesn’t matter?
Nope.
Okay, okay, let me think. All right, I’ve made up my mind. I’ll go with the Ribeye Steak and Shrimp Combo from Texas Roadhouse. I think it’s the best meal in town.
Texas Roadhouse is known for their Ribeyes. They are as good as they come, and the Roadhouse chefs know how to cook them. You order medium rare, and you get medium rare. The steaks are well marbled and packed full of flavor. Then add a half dozen grilled shrimp served on buttered yeast rolls, and you are in for a genuine feast.
Lots of restaurants these days have eliminated baked potatoes from their menus, and I don’t know why, but Texas Roadhouse still serves plump Idaho’s with a couple dollops of sour cream and butter, and they are delicious. The best part of the meal may very well be the salad. Nothing fancy, just a large variety of fresh, crisp vegetables with cheese and chopped eggs and made-in-house dressings. The Honey Mustard is excellent.
Dessert? No thanks, I’ll be full. But I am hoping for a last-minute pardon from Mike Lindell. Afterall, I paid regular price for his slippers and sheets.
