We went to Texas Roadhouse for one of those last-minute dinner decisions as our Grandson, James, had come to visit.
Their Burgers are great, and their Ribeye Steaks are easily the best in town, but I decided on something different – something I wouldn’t normally get at home.
I ordered their Country Fried Sirloin Steak, and it was delicious. The choices are with white gravy, with brown grave or no gravy. I went with white gravy since I had selected Mashed Potatoes as a side. They served up a perfectly cooked, huge portion. Yummm!
It’s hard to do a Country Fried Steak just right – you want it tender, with no gristle, but you want it crispy brown. The Roadhouse chefs were on their A-Game. I found my steak to be perfectly delightful – comfort food at its finest
Texas Roadhouse is doing a good job of holding their prices down. My Country Fried Steak with a side and salad (plus their great homemade rolls) was about $18.50. I now have a new excuse to suggest a dinner out. The Country Fried Goodness of the Sirloin Steak at Texas Roadhouse.
