We went out to dinner at Bonefish Grill, but instead of ordering a regular dinner with an entrée, we had a dinner of appetizers and they were great. Nancy and I started off with an order of Bang Bang Shrimp – a perfect appetizer and I love the sauce they use and the bed of lettuce beneath. I ate the lettuce as a salad along with my meal. After the Bang Bang Shrimp, we ordered another appetizer – the Calamari, flash fried with peppers with a sweet Asian Sauce. Yummy. By now, I was thinking maybe I didn’t need an entrée so we ordered a third appetizer – the Maryland Crab Cakes.
Bonefish does amazing Crab Cakes, about as good as any I’ve eaten at Nags Head. They serve two nice sized Maryland Crab Cakes with a delightful Red Remoulade Sauce. Very, very good.
At the end, we were stuffed and satisfied. The service was good, the food was good, and the atmosphere was most appealing. What more can you ask?
