Bird lovers: Brace yourself for an amazing product. This is a real game changer in the war against squirrels.
The mortal enemy of every bird lover, that group which spends millions of dollars each year on bird seed, is the lowly squirrel. Squirrels will find a way to steal the seed from its intended beneficiaries; they will gnaw through expensive feeders, and they will foul even the most intrinsic plans to be denied. They are royal pains in the tail feathers.
But….
As I have written in the past, squirrels don’t like, in fact cannot tolerate, hot pepper bird seed or suet. You can buy C&S Hot Pepper Seed and products that absolutely repel squirrels, but I recently came across another anti-squirrel product – Cole’s Flaming Squirrel Seed Sauce. This nifty sauce allows you to buy any of your favorite brands or assortments of bird seed and turn them into a hot pepper squirrel repellant. You can even custom blend your own seeds.
For example, my bluebirds love sunflower hearts, but the hearts only are a little pricey. But now I can blend the hearts along with perhaps some nuts, fruits, and sunflower seeds for a nice assortment of bird seed simply by adding a few tablespoons of the Flaming Hot sauce to whatever blend I choose.
Flaming Squirrel Seed Sauce is a nutritional birdseed supplement that contains all natural, 100% food grade ingredients with a super-hot and spicy flavor. For some reason, birds really love the taste of the liquid chili pepper formula exploding with tons of Cajun spice. It’s a blend of liquid Habanero chili pepper and soybean oil. When mixed with your favorite birdseed, it’s will actually increase bird visits at your feeder.
It’s simple to use. Just add 3 tablespoons of the sauce to 5 pounds of seed. Stir or shake well, allow to dry, and put it in your feeders. And no more squirrels – or bears! Yes, bears.
Bears are notorious bird seed raiders and destroyers of expensive feeders. They simply rip them down, break or tear them open and eat the seeds. But bears have far more sensitive noses than squirrels. If you add the pepper sauce to the seed in your feeders, bears will leave it alone.
The product is available at many bird and pet stores as well as on-line. Try some. It’s amazing.
