Thank heavens we have Hulu and access to Netflix and other channels. There is literally nothing on network TV (except The Good Doctor) and with social distancing the law of the land, there is not much to do except stay in and watch TV.
Recently, we watched an episode of The Good Witch on Netflix. It was riveting, not at all like the old “Good Witch” episodes on the Hallmark Channel with all those commercials. There is suspense, humor, great characters, good acting and the program is well worth watching. Sometimes we’ll watch three episodes at a single sitting. It’s that good.
The program is based on a modern-day, fictitious witch, a good witch, who does good things for people. The Good Witch, Cassie Nightingale, played by Catherine Bell, can sense what people will do or say before it happens. And then she works her magic.
If you haven’t seen it, watch an episode. It is “spellbinding.
