Recently, my wife Nancy and I have been making semi-regular trips across the mountain to visit CrossKeys Vineyards, near Weyers Cave in the Shenandoah Valley. The drive is pleasant, the scenery is beautiful, the wines are good as are the entertainment and food. Coming up this weekend is an event called “Flights at the Round Table”. Beer, wine and food. It sounds like a road trip may be in order.
Says CrossKeys, “Join us for an evening of unique wine and beer pairings on Saturday, April 28 at our CrossKeys Vineyards. In partnership with Brothers Craft Brewing in Harrisonburg, this very popular event will feature a four-course meal paired perfectly with four estate-grown wines from CrossKeys and four local beers from Brothers.”
